Got some more work done today in the dungeon... Dean came over and spent a couple of hours leveling the very small floor space. I then got him to plane down the tops of the new doors in order to get them to close properly in this old house.... he's a good guys and a good worker... maybe errr a little slow sometimes. He owed us approx 23 hours as Kevin had done some work for him over the last year, mainly last fall, those hours are all used up now so we are on the clock as of tomorrows work visit, $20.00 / hr... ouch! but hey I guess if he gets the job done and maybe he'll be a bit more to the task when he's being paid then when he's so to speak working for free.
I have been busy in the basement going through stuff and getting more stuff set aside to go to the thrift and CDA. Joanne mentioned today when she came over for a visit that CDA (Canadian Diabetes Assoc. they call head and then come around every so often taking a collection that then gets sold to the thrift and the moneys are put into the Diabetes assoc.) is coming down our road Monday, so I will be sure to get it together for a donation for them as it saes me a trip to the thrift. As for the manuverablitie of the dungeon well it's still awkward to say the least.
One day it will be better... one day at a time is what it takes, one day at a time.
For now it is a work in progress :)

So hereit is... whilest going through all of the copious amounts of stuff in my dungeon I have come across a few cowichan sweaters that my gramma made oh so many years ago... (four or five little kids ones sweaters and vests and three large adult ones) My question is, now what? Cleaning them caring for them? I'm just so unsure of what to do with them. Two of the kids ones looked like they had moths or something, maybe just drywall dust but yah never now so I grabbed a 5 gal bucket and filled it full of water and stuck them in their. But really now what do I do with them... should I recycle them by doing something along the lines of ... unraveling them and re-using the wool, send them to the thrift store, a shelter... make a bag or something of the like and felt them... I'm at a loss and they are old and big and heavy not really something that I will be wearing any time soon.
Actually the kids ones I believe were mine and my brothers at one time and the cousins at another time. That just tells you how old the little ones are, I truly don't have a clue as to how old the adult ones might be.
