Well I did finally tell my Gramma (moms mom) this afternoon... I'm so bad I didn't want to tell her at all...( I actually asked my cousin to tell her for me) I just didn't want her negative reaction... she can be and doesn't mean to be but just so very negative, and honestly I didn't want hear it from her at all. I told her and she was all "What are you Nuts!" and then a bit went by and she was much better and then became supportive... I did mention to her that all I wanted was positive support and that if I was receiving any sort of negativity from anyone I would just be cutting them out until they decided to not be so negative. I reminded her that I received a lot of negativity when I was pregnant with both Billie and Kayne and that I was just not interested in entertaining that kind of attitude from anyone again. I do think that she got my drift.

All in all it turned into a very nice chat with Gr. Dot and I do hope that as time goes by it will only be better between her and I when I comes to this topic.

Oh Sunny Day

Oh what a nice glorious sunny day we are having here today..... but cmon! Yesterday was snowing, sleating....windy windy windy.... so I didn't head over to Quadra for my spinning group, home I stayed. And then today is absolutely marvelous! I just can't believe this winter weather sometimes.

So hear I am today cleaning up the mess downstairs (includes sink covered in paint and all painting stuff still covered in paint as well.....like really? still covered in paint! NICE) that Kevin has left for me to deal with when it is oh so nice outside.....

Downstairs Bedroom Kayne

Well well well.... I do belive that the boys rooms is finally done or at least close enough to done that I can't tell the difference ;)

Kayne and Kevin moved his bed, lamp, stereo and clothes down last night so that he could sleep in his new room as Kevin leaves today to head back to AB.

Kayne was so happy to get to sleep in his new room last night... when I went down to help him set his stereo clock it was soo freaking cold down there that I actually hoped under his blankets while I helped him hehe. I hope he doesn't freeze while he sleeps. When I left his room and he was all tucked in an laying there all happy happy... he asked if I was going to turn off the light that is just outside his door? Like with the uhm mom your not going to turn off that light yet right? Very cute, so I left it on until I went to bed and I do think will pick up a night light of some sort today so that I don't have to leave on said light all the time as it isn't just on light on that switch it's two. I will also measure for his window covering today since he is at ground level now I really don't like the idea of just anyone looking in the window at him when he's sleeping or whatever.

So all in all the room is done and the boy is happy happy!

I'll take some pics today sionce it sunny out.

Well here it is the big announcement that I have been absolutely dying to spill!.....

But I just couldn't do it here until I told all of my girlfriends at knitting group tonight :)

I still need to tell my spinning group and my ladies groups and won't be able to until next Tuesday and Wednesday respectively now....

So here it is after holding it in for close to two weeks....

We are pregnant! Yes you read that right :) we are, we are, we are!

After a little bit of trying (like one cycle) and vola! WE did it :)

My EDD is Sept 25... so that puts me at 6 weeks tomorrow.

Kevin asked me to wait to spread the news until he came home from AB so after picking him Monday afternoon and then the kids from school... I went straight over to my Pa's place and told him and the kids together.... You might say that I had a different way of telling them I told them that I had come down with a condition over the last month that was causing me to pee a lot but that it should clear up in 8 months or so.... and my dad right away got it... he was all your pg?! That's really good Billie was all I new it!and Kayne well he was all no way! that's cool :) I told Pa that this was is very much intentional...and that we are happy... he was happy too!

So we get home and Billie gets on the PC (with permission might I add) and immediately changes her MSN status to "mothers pregnant" I ask to to be a bit more polite about it... as she typically calls me mother but I don't care for it.. and well it was sounding a little on the cold side... so she made it a bit nicer and I get to thinking well she's on the phone right now with my step-sisters daughter and OMG what if she tells her mom and then she calls our parents! F*** so on the phone I get and I NEVER call the parents at night only in the am... so I do some basic chit chat with my mom and then ask if Marshall (my step-dad) was home and and ask if he could also get on the phone so that I could say hi to him but for mom to just stay on the line because it would only be a second.. so again with the mindless chit chat and a bit of can you hear me oh I couldn't hear you just to make sure that they could both hear me... and then I give them the same line as I gave my Pa and the kids... and my mom is all "OH GREAT!" totally doesn't get it and thinks that I have some illness now or something of the like and Marshall right away gets it and say "are you pg?" all excited and happy sounding... and then mom finally clues in ... boy oh boy did that ever give us a laugh... they were both very happy for us and mom perked up a bit after realizing that I wasn't actually just calling for idle chit chat :)

So the long of the short of it is

We are pregnant... I had my first midwife appointment today and it went well ... I have already got a decent amount of stuff lined up or in the works for hen I will need it... Kevin and the kids immediately went through the name book and Billie got on the PC and was looking at names , so they already have a boy and girl list.... I have 8 months approx to go and have already done more in the first couple of days of sharing the news than we did a month before the kids were even due..... this is good

Now for a smooth pregnancy and delivery :)

I have tried and tried to get the pregnancy ticker to load to this page but I just can't... oh well....

I do have it on my main profile page if you want to check it out... it's pretty neat :)

eta : So weird I did actually post this last night... but for whatever reason it just wouldn't show up on the main friends page, it did however show up on my main page???? but cmon I wanted it to be seen.... ;)

Downstairs Bedroom Kayne

Well Kayne's bedroom has really taken some shape over the last 2 weeks.. we have a new sub-floor on top of the super uneven cement floor that was out 2 inches! all of the crown moulding is painted and was hung today. The window molding an ledge shelf also went in today and will be trimmed out and stained during the next couple of days, I painted the bottom portion of the room so that when Kevin came home is was done so that he could get to it and do his fancy pants paint job :) We ordered the flooring in on Monday so it should be here (in town that is) by the 6th and then it ill just take an afternoon to have it installed...and then the baseboard molding will follow that... very soon very soon... hopefully the boy can be moved downstairs by the time Kevin goes back to work... we'll see :)

I will be sure to take some picks of his wicked awesome painting when it's all done ;)

Spinning on Quadra

A couple of days ago my Gramma Betty (my moms ex-hubby of 13 - 14 years, mom. although they haven't been together for 15 or so yeas I still consider them to all be a part of my family, hell I still call my moms ex my step dad, he's just my other step-dad ;) ) called to tell me that her spinning group (meets on Quadra on Thursdays) and the spinning group that I had been going to in the fall before the weather turned (meets on Tuesdays also on Quadra) were doing a combined meeting today on Quadra. I was so glad that she had called and told me about it as I haven't been to Quadra for spinning since... well I'm not actually sure it's been so long. Maybe since the end of November? I don't know, but it's been quite some time since I had been spinning. And I was so excited to go spinning with gramma as that's just something that I have been wanting to do since I started spinning but her group isn't really open to new members. So gramma told me just to meet her at the ferry and get my walk on pass and then just hop in with her to save me the car fare for the ferry. This was so nice as I haven't seen or spent any time with gramma Betty in years. I was just so excited to see her she got out of her car as I was walking up to it and even though I was carrying my wheel and two bags she just grabbed onto me and gave me the biggest nicest hug.... It was wonderful, I almost had some tears for her as it had just been that long. well WE had a great time just the two of us on the drive to and from the spinning get together. The spinning get together was wonderful. All of her spinning girlfriends are just a great group of women. I had actually met two of them before at my spinning group as they come to tours to help us all along with our progress. So I actually new a few of the women there, instead of not knowing any of them, it was great to not worry about learning 12 new names while I was concentrating on my spinning. Well all in all it was a great day and the time flew by like you wouldn't belive and before I new it it was time to pack up and hit the road for the ferry. Oh I almost forgot in addition to the two groups getting together they had also invited Lynn of Pagan Creation over to have a sale of her fibers and wares... it was a really nice sampling of her fibers, dyes, books and tools... she is also a very nice woman to have around, she didn't bring her wheel but was very happy to just sit back and enjoy being part of the group and listen to and watch all of the wheels spinning. (honestly it is very relaxing) I didn't go overboard with my spending either so this was good, although I'm not sure what I will make with the fibers that I did purchase.

All in all we all had a great time and I was very happy to see the women from my spinning group and they also seemed happy to see me. I felt very privileged to have been invited to this gathering of spinners.

The day spent with Gramma Betty was such a treat I do hope that we can do it again soon.

I will take pics of my fibers tomorrow and add them to this post then.

OMG!

My Namaste Zuma came this morning! WOW! that IS some fast shipping I placed the order on Friday the 9th in afternoon
and the shop keep told me that it wouldn't go out until Tuesday as they don't ship on Mondays. So here it is first thing on my doorstep Wednesday the 14th! I was very surprised as I really didn't think it would be here this quick at all.

This bag feels so oh so very nice and wonderful... it is a faux leather, but unless one was aware of this they wouldn't guess.....
The size is great and it has some interior pockets and a front zippered pocket with accordion type pockets.
It fits on my shoulder beautifully and has a great magnet closure... I am so ready for a new bag and one that will not only act as a purse but will also carry my knitting projects comfortably.....

Amanda gave me this great little daily calendar titled Little gifts of Kindness. It has a little quote or nice saying each day. Today's quote has caught my attention, As I have been invited to a spinning get together on Thursday. I would really like to attend but then thought that it might just be to much of a hassle to go and work out getting the kids organized after school (especially with Kayne having gym on Thursdays now at 3:30) But after flipping the calendar and seeing today's quote I do believe that I will do my best to make it work :)

Dogs and treats

So I find these oh so old dog treats. They are similar to a raw hide but not nearly as bad as a raw hid, they are called RollOvers... They are a treat that you would give said dog and they would chew it and love it for the rest of the day. Well not my Maggie she has successfully and completely consumed the whole thing in under 3 minutes! Jackie on the other hand is in fact chewing hers and will probably loose interest in it and then Maggie will swoop in and gobble it all up before Jackie even know what hit her. For a treat that is meant to be savoured and loved for the rest of the day Maggie sure has made fast work of it... oh and the sound coming from her the loud chewing, crushing this thing I say just crushing it. She's just a little to happy to get any kind of eatable offering. And just like that it's all gone not a crumb to be found and she's off to get a rink and ask for another, whilest Jackie lays back loving her treat.

My Christmas was very nice and quiet. The kids were very happy with all that they received from everyone involved.
Kevin was home, mom and Marshall were able to come over for an afternoon visit and presents Pa came by for the afternoon, presents, turkey dinner and dessert.
We all enjoyed ourselves very much so... well I did somewhat.
Not that I want to be an ungrateful recipient but really come one Kevin went out on Christmas eve to get me a or some gifts.. I don't really know what his plan was. Then again I don't think he new either.In the end on Christmas morning I was rightfully disappointed in his efforts.. honestly I didn't want to be and tried really hard to not but but come one he went out and bout me some gym type clothes from Superstore (might I add that they were on clearance) he gt me a top, pants and a warm up coat... all very nice except for one thing they were all XL's I'm telling you he is clueless when it comes to sizing as well maybe before I was that size but really I haven't been anywhere near that size for a couple of years now. He also went to Mark's Work Wearhouse and got me a very nice blouse in an XL and a very nice knit type zip up hoodie also an XL I quite liked both of these things but when I went to exchange them for my size they just didn't have them in stock anymore. Needless to say I ended up getting full refunds from both stores and being cranky for the rest of the day. Kevin did on the other hand take the kids to get me this great organizing bag for scrap booking or crafting of sorts, I outright told him that I wanted one so he followed through with the kids. Now if the roles had have been reversed and I was buying him some kind of bag to hold 101 themed items I would have purchase or at least gotten a gift cert for said items from said store... nope Nada not a thing in the bag. Yes I really like the bag but was truly surprised when I looked through the bag and realized that he hadn't put anything into it. I still have the bag and will keep the bag for my scrap booking and various crafting tools.

I hadn't even considered what I would then get to replace all of the returned items when this morning I was checking my Ravelry page and Brenda had made a blog post brenda.typepad.com/close_to_my_heart/2009/01/bag-review.html about her new bag. I just couldn't resist clicking on the link she provided... and I tell you this bag looks like it's the cats ass! I have been looking for so very long now for a new more manageable handbag / purse. I ended up having a look see at the dealers in BC and was able to locate a store in Victoria, The Beehive Wool Shop www.beehivewoolshop.com/index.html that carries the Namaste line (although not the complete line) and they had the exact bag that I had been eyeing! In the right color and everything! I ended up going with the same bag as Brenda (sorry Brenda, I hope this won't bother you)

All in all I have a happy ending to my Christmas gift fiasco, as the total was approx the same as what I had returned.

Kayne's Thursday Gymnastics Class

Kayne had his extra Gymnastics class last night. It went very well and he would like to move over to this class asap. The only thing that he said against the class is that the other kids are annoying... this might really start to get to him but well just have to see how it goes. The other kids ages range from 6-11 I believe, the six yo was so teeny tiny beside Kayne it was a bit amusing when they were doing these jumping exercises, especially when the things that they were jumping over was higher than the little guys waist. Um no he didn't make any of those jumps, they were so tall that the last one Kayne didn't even clear. But one thing is said for the little kids they are pretty flexible in ways that Kayne isn't, but then Kayne has his own flexibility that is unique to him weather or not it will be beneficial to his gymnastics or not I don't know.

All in all he had a great time and wants to keep going to that class and stop going to the regular recreational class. In February the classes will go from being one day a week at 3hrs to two days a week a 3 hrs each Kayne is stoked! He also feels that it won't be a problem with his Hip Hop class that is also on Tuesdays approx 30 min's after the gym class. Although the coach did say that Kayne could head out early in order to have a little bit of a break and some food before his dance class... this is good.

The coach seems to have a pretty clear vision of what he wants to do with the boys. This I appreciate very much. In the end he would like to see these boys helping coach at the club as quite a lot of the older girls are doing, but no boys really as they haven't had this kind of program offered before for the boys, just for the girls.

So for know we have a boy that is looking very much so forward to being challenged in his gymnastics class and being able to use the skills and strengths that he acquires in gym in his dance class as well.

Downstairs Bedroom Kayne

Well the bedroom has been moving along quite nicely this week.

With Dean getting all of the walls mudding completed and today we are getting the ceiling up!!!
It actually is starting to feel like a real room now , especially with out being able to see the floor joists and all of the insulation that we put up for sound proofing between the two rooms (up down that is).
We will soon have the girl up and the boy down. Who knows how that will go but we have pout in a lot of extra insulation to help deaden the noise that they produce in efforts to annoy each other.

Downstairs Bedroom Kayne

Kayne's wanna-be bedroom has been coming along very well over the last two or so weeks. It has been really good ever since we got going on the bathroom and whilest Dean was working on the bathroom I took the time to empty out the wanna be bedroom. This is a different kinda room as it is L shaped. Measuring this room for flooring is fun... or not.
The entire length of the room is 16' 3", you would think that was a good measurement but uhm no not when it's combined with the top part of the L it just makes for a difficult room as the top part of the room is only 5'9" across.

So there it a little diagram of the room... I think that will help with the explaining just how difficult this room is proving to be even just to have 2 guys in it working. Also across the two longest walls is a ledge as these are also exterior walls and that is were the foundation is. Kayne already has it all planed out as to were his furniture will go but it has taken him a bit to figure out just were his armoire will go mainly because of this ledge really as he doesn't have much space along a full floor to ceiling wall for this large piece of furniture to go. Him and Kevin already have all of their paint colors picked out.. all four of them that is, he has chosen with Mr. artsy fartsy help four colors, deep dark purple, deep orange kinda like a mix between a granny smith apple and key lime pie green and white.... oh the fun Kevin will have painting this room. But hey that's OK he's really excited about all of it, and well hey Kayne's just over excited to get out of his current teeny tiny room it's a whopping 8 x 9 so I can understand how happy he is with the daily progress of his wanna-be room. Dean has two coats of mud on two of the walls and will get more mudding done tomorrow after I pickup some more mud. The flooring is going to be a bit of a pain for one just the way the room is and for two the floor is out back wall to from wall 2" this is crazy! only over 10' and out 2" my god...

The people that put his place together must have drank a bunch of beer whilest doing the job as this isn't the first time the floor or walls have been out this much.

Well I'm hoping that we can have the boy into his room in the next month or so as we still do have quite a bit of work to do to the room to have it ready for him. Once that room is done then we will re-finish the floor in his current/old room and fix up the chipped paint and re-paint the room out and get it set up for maybe even a craft or art room... I called the craft room before Kevin called the art room, and really he's only home for two weeks out of 5, and I'm not sure what he's ready to get back into his art yet. So I tell myself.

Well enough about all of our reno stuff. I'll be sure to get some pics of the room once Kevin gets it all painted up :)

Oh I almost forgot to mention, Kayne and I moved all of our PC stuff upstairs tonight as to protect it from the dry wall dust when it starts to fly. It is way to nice to have this puppy upstairs in the warm part of the house, and were all of the action is ;)

I went to his gymnastics class a bit early to watch a bit before picking him up and at the end of the class all of the kids came off of the floor except Kayne. He was still out on the floor talking to his coach (Rob) and I was to far away to hear and couldn't tell if he was catching crap or getting praise, so I asked the assistant coach if he was in trouble and she assured me that in fact he wasn't but didn't indicate what they were talking about that seemed to be so serious. After a couple of minutes they both come off of the floor and Rob asks me if I have a couple minutes to talk to him and that Kayne isn't in trouble at all and quite the opposite actually! So off we go down the hall away from all of the other kids and parents. Rob then proceeds to tell me that Kayne has come leaps and bounds and that he is doing so very well in the class and he is moving ahead of all of the other boys at such a fast pace that he would like to invite Kyane out to the boys pre-competitive class to try it out and see what he thinks. Rob only has 6 boys in this group but would really like to include Kayne in said group. He was so enthusiastic about Kayne and his progression in the class and was concerned that he would advance faster than the other boys and become bored and not want to attend gym anymore because of boredom. Kayne would really like to try it out as he says that he does tend to get bored as it is and he's still learning at this stage of course but he is just picking it up so much faster and easier than the other boys. The class is on Thursdays from 3:30 - 6:30 and Kayne was all "Yup I really want to try this and see what it's all about!" He's so excited about all of this and really wanted to call and tell you all about it. So here I sit sharing all of my excitement for him. Rob and I have made a plan for the three of us to have another talk after the Thursday class and get an idea of if this is something that is or can work for Kayne, and of course if after a three hour class (his regular classes are 2 hours) if it is something that Kayne feels he would really like to move onto.

This is so exciting for the boy!

Christmas Eve record

Well I must say this is a record for me... normally I am awake until around 2 am on Christmas eve... but alas this year it is 11:30 and I am done! All the wrapping is done.. everything is underthe tree kids are in bed.. and I will be in bed as soon as I log off :)

eta: almost forgot... no cookies in the house so we put out some Trisciut Pepper and something or other crakers, cheese and milk.. too funny! I ate the crackers and cheese and let the dogs take turns drinking the milk... Kevin found it all rather amusing.

Ladie Group versus Knitting Group

Lately I have been feeling that while I have been going to my Ladies group for the past 4 or so years and have had perfect attendance. I'm justnot enjoying it at all anymore. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the women and the friendships that have come out of it, but I find myslef not very happy after those meetings. I haven't been part of the xecutive before (always a little timid of the positons I guess) But I have been thinking that maybe thatis the key for me as I haven't been happy this year in specific withthe decisions made by the exec. I don't enjoy the new format at all and really don't enjoy that they have themed (food theme) our secret sister gift giving. I would rather choose for myself what it is that I want to by and not have to work around some theme. I also am not fond of the theme either and don't want to recieve gifts of said theme, not just because but for a couple of reasons really, I would rather by my own food, not want people to waaste their money buying me food that i just won't use or just end up going to the food bank, I don't want cook books as a matter of fact would you like some of mine? I have enough kitchen gadgets to last me and a friend a lifetime, I make my own wine so don't want store bought wine,don't use paper napkins or tapered candles ... those go into the re-gift programme, don't like chocolate, so that would just be again given away.... really I would rather not receive these kinds of things... not that I'm ungrateful really I just don't want my secret sister wasting their money on something that isn't gong to be used or appreciated. We don't have happy talk anymore.. this was something that I always looked forward to as I don't spend time with most of these women on a regular basis so I am hapy to hear about what is going on with them and thier families. I too woul dlike to share some happy talk but don't get to anymore. .... Oh how the list goes on

My knitting group is on the same night as my ladies group although it is on every wed were as my ladies groups the first and third wed, so I do get to go to half of the knitting group nights. I truly enjoy my knitting group and really look forward to going to it and visiting with everyone. These are all different aged women of varying different skill levels and crafting interests, we are all at different points ion our lives right from very small kidss not even ion school yet to caree women with or without kids... this is also very similar to the women in my ladies group although none of them have small kids that aren't in school yet and when the mention of babies and small kids come up they are all like oh no why on earth would you want to have more kids (as it is common knowledge that I in fact would have more kids, even though mine are already 13 and 10) were as at my knitting group they are all ohh really you would that would be cool, but not for me .. or whatever they say, never has it been a negative comment or unsupportive comment on that topic...

I just feel very much at home with my knitting group and have started to feel very much on the outside looking in at my ladies group.
I think that as I have paid my dues for the next three years for myladies group I will stick with it and maybe for me part of the key is going to be to take a spot on the exec, as my Pa always says if you don't vote you can't complain, I think that this is true for this situation as the exec has made up some new rules without disscussing it with the entire goup until it was already decided. So maybe if I can be a part of the exec I will be able to voice my opion and maybe even be heard. I have talked to the group about my feelings of the new fromat and they just don't seem to hear what I have to say at all... although I thionk that if it was one of the women that were a bit better spoken or whatever they would be heard alright. And maybe even things would be different if it was one of them that had tryed to make the poiints that I have tried to make. I don't know but I am frusterated with this group and the decions being made and them not hearing what I have to say.

Maybe after some time I will be able to decide on my own what to do... I have alreadty had a couple peopl esay oh just quit the ladies group and go to knitting as that is were you would rather be.

Only time will tell. For now I'll just sit on it.

Kevin comes home tomorrow! This is such a good thing as last year he didn't have much time home over the holidays. This year he will be home starting the 19th and flying out on the 5th... this is good matchy matchy with the kids last day before the holidays and first days back to school after the holidays. Hopefully Dean can get over this afternoon to finish up the dwnstrs bthrm... this will be such an accomplishment for this household as we tend to be starters and not finishers ;) More so on Kevin's behalf (even though he hasn't been here for the majority of this project) but I do tend to fall into it on occasion, but not very often.

We don't really have any plans for whilest Kevin is home and the kids are out of school... just really for tomorrow and Saturday... tomorrow after I pick him up from the Comox airport and then rush back as cautiously as possible with the roads being icy and snowy get the kids from school... head straight over to Pa's for our tree, Pa will come for dinner once he's done for the day with the tree's, Billie has youth group... movie night so we will decorate the tree Saturday morning..... and after that maybe we'll get some good quality Christmas shopping done ...lol! Nothing like leaving it to the last minute ;)

In the mean time I'll be getting the second and hopefully last coat of paint on the bthrm ceiling and walls, tiding up the house in general, figuring out what food we need to get before it's to to busy in the grocery stores... knitting up Kevin's second comically long sock and starting Pa's pair... no time like the present to get stuff done!

I almost forgot I still need to make a bag for my Q4 bag swap partner!
This I rember as I'm blocking the just felted bags.

If only I could have another helping of time!

Dungeon to Basement & Pa's tree farm

The dungeon to basement tranformation is coming along rather well. I now have an almost complete bathroom, running water at the sink and the toilet will be installed over the next day or two, the light fixture and towel racks and what not can go up whenever and just a touch up coat of paint and well be done (the shower doors will be in in the new year) and we will have an almost three peice bathroom!

All of this basement work / action has come at a cost for sure though... usually at thi s time of year I spend nearly ever day witrh my Pa over at his tree farm just keeping him company and helping with the tree stuff.... Itt is so nice to sped the time with him and see all of the happy families coming and going. He has seasonal music playing so that you can here it outside... and a couple of years ago we were offering spiced cider, but I imagine this year without my help he isn't doing that. We all really enjoy Pa's place as we have all had a hand in helping to develope the tree farm. We all helped with some clearing when he first purchased the land and Kevin has planted many of the trees, Billie goes over every year and fertilizes the trees, she also helps with the baby trees when they need their first handle pruning done. I help mow inbetween the trees during the growing season as the grass gets quit tall during the summer months.... and well Kayne he likes to supervise :) He has yet to really truly do anything with the trees, but his time will come. Well I guess you could say that he is the checker / driver as he likes to take Pa for rides on the golf cart down into the feild.
We always get our tree from pa's place but have yet to get one as Kevin won't be home until Friday the 19th, so the plan is to go right after the kids are out of school and get our tree and then put it up first thing Saturday morning. I guess you could say that we are cutting it a bit close but we would all rather wait for Kevin to be home to take part in the tree action with us.

good a.m. honey buns

hi honey i am at home today lucky me i managed to acquire a lovely cold probably from the very sick dishwasher lady at Tim Horton's (people that are that sick should not be allowed to stay at work period) anyhow that's life.i did want to warn you about the roads they are very very bad, so bad an ambulance slammed into the accident cars it was going to and a few cop cars had mishaps as well. it is solid ice under the snow so only go driving if absolutely necessary. our little tracker is finally in getting fixed from the big dear mash so have the suburban back on the road and will be using that to get back and forth to work (will have solid steel around me) anyhow if going out be really really careful watch out for the idiots out there. maybe talk to you later love you all tons and tons, mom PS never could spell necessary write love mommie

What a sweet note, and who ever said scanners were useless, silly noise makers?

I don't imagine myself heading out at all today into the great freezing roads with a skim of snow... err maybe not today.
